Summary
We are seeking a Hospitalist to join our team at Morrill County Community Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient care in the hospital setting, ensuring high standards of medical practice while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for hospitalized patients, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in inpatient care preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
