Morrell Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Experience in healthcare setting preferred. Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience required.
Job Summary
- Routine plumbing and electrical maintenance.
- Establishes and follows preventive maintenance program for equipment per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Routine building repair: painting, dry wall repair, floor/ceiling/wall tile replacement, grouting, minor carpentry, etc.
- Perform/document tests per protocol.
- Check fire extinguishers monthly per procedure
- Conduct or coordinate monthly fire drills per policy.
- Conduct or coordinate staff in-service/orientation on fire extinguisher use and fire extinguisher use and fire safety.
- Perform monthly safety inspection as indicated.
- Perform other functions as deemed necessary by facility Executive Director .
- Rotates call schedule.
Qualifications and Skills
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment.
Prefer a minimum of 3 years general maintenance experience required.
