Description
Clinical Role
- Manage patient flow
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Prepare dental materials per orthodontic procedure
- Take dental x-rays, scan patients, take photos
- Assist with orthodontic chairside procedures
- Prepare teeth for orthodontic bonding
- Place and remove separators and bands
- Initial seating of orthodontic appliances
- Remove, size, place and secure orthodontic archwires
- Maintain OSHA protocols
- Maintain sterilization protocols
- Maintain treatment area and units
- Record keeping of procedures and correspondence in treatment card
Practice Building
- Coordinate with internal and external strategies
- Participate in staff meetings
- Work cohesively with other team members
Education / Experience
- Dental Assistant License: NJ
- X-ray License: NJ
- CPR certification

Schedule- Partime
- Monday 9am-5pm
- Tuesday 9am-6pm
- Friday 8am-5pm
- (1) Saturday per month 8am-1pm
