Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to be part of our sales team! This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and expanding our market presence while representing 5 different brands located throughout North Florida.
Duties
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current and potential clients.
- Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external) requirements.
- Manage accounts ensuring pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
- Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.
- Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue while actively pursuing new accounts.
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Articulate and leverage the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities.
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales goals.
- Identify new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling efforts.
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align strategies and optimize outreach efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
- Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.
- Represent hotel at local events when required.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing market conditions and identifying growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
