Position Description
Seeking a senior-level Programmer Analyst to support an Education Grants and Accounting application.
Project Overview
This position will support the creation and maintenance of educational grants and analytical reports within a grants management system. The platform contains over 100 educational grant applications that are renewed annually with minor to major modifications.
Applications are primarily configured through a low-code interface, utilizing SQL for custom validations, error checks, and calculations. Analytical reports are SQL-based and provide end users with actionable insights related to grant programs.
Strong SQL expertise and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience developing systems using Microsoft SQL Server databases – 3 years
• Experience writing complex:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Views
- Advanced SQL Queries
- (3 years)
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment – 3 years
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies:
- C#.NET and/or
- VB.NET
- (3 years)
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Federal, State, or Local Grant Management Systems – 2 years
• Experience with Playwright – 1 year
Additional Information
• Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, with the possibility of a second-round in-
person interview.
• Hybrid work schedule:
- 2 days onsite
- 3 days remote
- Full-time onsite work is also an option if preferred.
• Start date is flexible.
• Initial contract term is 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server development experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, experience supporting business-critical applications, and familiarity with .NET technologies. Candidates with experience in grants management systems and reporting environments are highly preferred.
