Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews licensure applications, permits, and certifications for status, completeness, accuracy, and eligibility requirements based on established policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Makes recommendations to accept or reject applications in accordance with pertinent laws, rules, and regulations and forwards recommendations to the appropriate supervisor for approval.
- Makes determinations on requests for reciprocity and renewal in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Evaluates licensing certificates, registrations, and other statements of authority for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility requirements.
- Ensures that licenses and required reports are completed accurately.
- Ensures that applicable mandates, rules, and pronouncements are implemented as assigned.
Making Decisions and Solving Problems
- Issues licenses, certificates, registrations, and other statements of authority to practice in an occupation or profession.
- Reviews licensing matters and makes determinations within established policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Processing Information
- Matches payments made to the cashier's office with the appropriate licensee's record.
- May process expenditure reports.
Interacting With Computers
- Enters and/or revises data from multiple sources into databases.
- May post or adjust payments on licensee records
