- Experience with construction management and monitoring
- Experience with schedule creation, forecasting and analysis including time and resources
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management
- Contract interpretation and analysis of compliance
- Familiarity with construction contracts and subcontracts
- Knowledge of Article VII and SEP permitting processes
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Specialized skills
- Knowledge of the Tier 1 Program''s Standard Form Agreement
- Ability to create schedules with dependencies and predecessors, and perform analysis on schedule shift
- Demonstrated experience developing KPIs for construction projects, monitoring and reporting on risk and proposing mitigation
- Ability to develop schedule forecasts
- Familiarity with NYS Article VII Environmental Management and Construction Plan processes
- Ability to navigate Department of Public Service''s Document and Matter Management System
Education, Certifications, Degree requirements
- B.S. 10 years of construction experience, or MS 3–7 years of construction experience, mandatory
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety training – minimum level, mandatory
- Desired: OSHA 30 construction training

Tasks
- Lead monitoring and reporting of construction progress, attend multi-agency meetings and analyze submitted reports
- Organize and lead site visits in the field for assigned projects
- Lead the project identification, and reporting on project and schedule risk along with mitigation activities as needed
- Perform contract compliance monitoring and maintain tracking tools, escalating issues as needed
- Maintain construction reports and documentation on SharePoint
- Participate in internal and external project meetings
- Develop appropriate project metrics and tracking mechanisms
- Generate charts, tables and tools as necessary to quickly convey project status to executives
- Serve as the primary point of contact with a select group of developers and stakeholders on behalf of the program and certain assigned projects
Other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Large Scale Renewables team
