We are seeking a devoted Construction Project Manager/ Estimator to manage multiple projects, including new construction and renovations for commercial projects. . This role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Architectural and Engineering Documents
- Communicate with management via daily report
- Coordinate/supervise submittal process to Architects/Designers/Engineers
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budget limitations
- Manage, supervise and be responsible for all project costs and participate in project accounting updates, approvals and processes
- Coordinate subcontractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Supervise the project and provide guidance to the team when needed
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Qualifications:
- 5 years Experience Minimum required in Public & City/Government Projects & Bidding
- B.S. in civil engineering major or construction related field
- Experience with Drawing, development of Architectural Plans, Elevations, and Details
- -Time Management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficient in Take-off and Estimating breakdowns
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
- Experience doing field surveys and as-built drawings Experience with code research and product research
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Public & City/Government Projects & Bidding
- Construction Experience: 5 years (Minimum)
- 5 years Experience Minimum required in Public & City/Government Projects
- Project Management: 5 years (Minimum)
- Experience with Government/City Construction Contracts
