Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator and in collaboration with the Expanded Learning Program Specialist, the Expanded Learning STEAM Lab Teacher provides STEAM instruction during the instructional day and supports enrichment opportunities within the Expanded Learning program. The position supports the development of hands-on, project-based STEAM learning experiences while assisting with the organization and use of site-based STEAM lab spaces and materials. The role helps strengthen connections between classroom instruction and enrichment programming. The Expanded Learning STEAM Lab Teacher is assigned to an elementary school site/sites.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Clear California Teaching Credential Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability Five years of experience working in an educational setting Experience planning and implementing programs, leading and training staff Experience with STEAM instruction, STEM education, or project-based learning
A complete application packet will include: ~ Complete Application ~ Letter of Introduction ~ Resume ~ Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation; One (1) from a Supervisor ~ Copy of Multiple Subject Credential or comparable out-of-state Credential ~ Copy of Transcript(s)
