Morningstar Living is currently hiring a part-time Prep Cook for our senior living community in Nazareth, PA. The hours for this position are 10:000am-6:30pm. This opportunity offers pay rates ranging from$17.00 - $19.00 per hour with benefits including:

The Prep Cook is a productive worker, preparing and serving food, and is responsible for safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. The Cook will assist with daily production, menu planning, lunch and dinner service, proper HACCP producers, and general sanitation.
What will I do as a Prep Cook?
- Reports to Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Production Manager.
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of food prepared and served.
- Use Culinary Production Records (CPR) and standardized recipes to produce menu items in correct portions and amounts.
- Assist other kitchens with food preparation when needed.
- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
What do I need to be a Prep Cook?
- Cooking experience for a minimum of two (2) years, preferably in batch cooking.
- Must work well on a team.
- Must be dependable.
- Must have visual acuity to read production sheets, menus and following provided recipes in accordance to our nutritional guidelines.
