The Lead Server is responsible for accurate and efficient service of meals to the Personal Care residents and their guests. The Lead Server is responsible for overseeing the dining room experience. This position includes assisting the Personal Care Wait-Staff Supervisor in daily operations of the dining room.
What will I do as the Lead Server?
- Ensure completion of all set-up jobs 15 minutes prior to service.
- Enforce standards of service and proper uniforms of Direct Reports.
- Maintain positive customer relations; handle complaints professionally.
- Assist in maintaining dining areas in clean and neat fashion.
- Involvement in orientation and training of new Direct Reports.
- Responsible for the supervision of utility personnel in respected areas.
What do I need to be the Lead Server?
- Demonstrate dependability with scheduled work hours.
- Courteous and cooperative attitude and ability to interact and communicate with residents and other staff members.
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Stocking the pantry area with the appropriate wares and condiments.
- Maintaining the area according to the sanitation standards provided.
