Carpenter Helper — Entry-Level / Part-Time or Full-Time
We are looking for a dependable Carpenter Helper to assist with residential and light commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on position suitable for someone interested in learning carpentry, remodeling, repairs, and general construction work.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenter with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials
- Carry and organize lumber, tools, and construction supplies
- Help with framing, drywall, trim, flooring, cabinets, and basic repairs
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after projects
- Operate basic hand and power tools after proper instruction
- Take measurements and follow project instructions
- Pick up materials or supplies when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable performing physical work
- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Basic construction or carpentry experience is helpful but not required
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Professional attitude around customers and other workers
Experience
Entry-level applicants are welcome. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
