Job Summary
We are looking for a team oriented individual to join our team!
This individual is responsible for preparing our in house baked good for a busy brunch restaurant. They will use current recipes as well as have the freedom to add their own creations to our bakecase. Breads, biscuits and granola are made in house weekly.
Morning and daytime hours (Wednesday - Sunday, Mondays & Tuesdays OFF)
You will be joining a high energy, positive work environment that feels like a family.
Owners are very present in restaurant, we don't do drama. We work hard and have fun while doing it!
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for baking and cooking by measuring, chopping, and assembling items with precision and care
- Package baked goods and food items efficiently for retail display or catering orders
- Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and assembling culinary products according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations
- Support the team during catering events or restaurant service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and baking within a commercial setting
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent time management
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
Pay: $18.00 per hour
