Host / Hostess – Morgan River Grill
Love people? Love being part of a team? We’re looking for friendly, dependable Hosts/Hostesses to be the welcoming face of Morgan River Grill. You’re often the first hello and the last goodbye—and you help set the tone for a great dining experience on the water.
What You’ll Do
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet guests with a smile and make them feel right at home
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow
- Communicate with servers, bartenders, and managers to keep service running smoothly
- Answer phones and help guests with reservations and questions
- Bus, clean, reset, and set tables to keep things moving
- Keep the dining room, host stand, windows, and entry areas clean and inviting
- Check, clean, and restock restrooms during your shift
- Help with special occasions, guest requests, and accessibility needs
- Jump in wherever help is needed during busy times
- Take on other tasks as assigned as business needs require

- Experience is great, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand and move around for most of your shift
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs (chairs, bus tubs, supplies)
- Comfortable bending, reaching, and staying active
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including our porch and waterfront areas
- Able to handle a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
