STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Position Summary

Essential Duties
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare month-end and daily journal entries, along with comprehensive month-end reports.
- Analyze balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, invoice coding, documents, and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit and tax work papers.
- Prepare monthly accounting work papers and ensure proper documentation.
- Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all month-end processes are followed and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support acquisition and disposition reviews by preparing relevant financial data.
- Participate in special projects and due diligence efforts as needed.
- May be required to work additional hours during peak periods to meet reporting deadlines.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year institution.
- Must be goal oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Yardi experience preferred but not required.

Salary : $63,000 - $67,000
