As The Assistant Service Manager, You Will Help To
- Manage, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
- Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, carpentry, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
- Support the Service Manager with day-to-day maintenance operations while maintaining a strong team-first mentality.
- Be accountable for establishing and preparing a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team.
- Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
- Establish an on-call schedule, preventative maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team.
- Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
- Provide support across multiple communities within the regional portfolio when needed.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
- Base Pay: $23.00 to $26.00 /Hr.
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

- Monday – Friday: 8 AM- 4:30 PM
- Paid rotating on-call (participation required)
- Must be available and prepared for emergency events
- Schedule subject to change based on business need
- Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- HVAC certification required; EPA/CFC certification strongly preferred.
- One-year certificate, 2–4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
