Position Overview
Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by a global engineering company specialising in the design and supply of pharmaceutical packaging machinery to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest territory.
Scope of Responsibility
- Own and execute territory sales strategy, including pipeline management, business development, and market penetration
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts through consultative, technical sales
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, customer meetings, quotations, order handling, and follow-up
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor on technical solutions
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to senior management and marketing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Application Engineers and Marketing to support projects, product positioning, and customer delivery
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, generating and converting leads.
Industry & Product Experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical and/or packaging machinery or related technical/industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and customer requirements
- Background in technical sales of complex, engineered products or solutions
- Engineering foundation (mechanical/electrical preferred) with ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Location
- Territory-based role with home office setup. Someone who is based in the Midwest or Central is preferred.
- Significant travel within the assigned region and customer sites
- International exposure required
