Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, sinks, storage spaces, and dishwashing stations
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving ware is sanitized and ready for service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination
- Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
