Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest or background in family law. In addition to handling family law matters, we welcome candidates who wish to expand their practice into other areas of law that align with their professional passions—whether that’s estate planning, business law, civil litigation, criminal defense, or beyond. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills and the ability to conduct thorough research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and related issues from inception to resolution
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues
- Attend court hearings and negotiate settlements
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial and hearings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in multiple practice areas
- Participate in client meetings and consultations to discuss case strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions
- Provide high-quality and compassionate legal counsel
- Engage in other practice areas based on your interests and experience
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Washington Bar
- Prior experience in family law preferred but not required
- Strong legal drafting skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple cases independently
- Eagerness to build or continue building a legal practice within a supportive environment
