We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this pivotal role, you will lead unlawful detainer, litigation cases related to real estate disputes, providing expert legal counsel and advocacy. Duties
- Manage and litigate a diverse portfolio of real estate disputes, including boundary disagreements, title issues, zoning conflicts, unlawful detainers, and lease disputes.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, settlement agreements, and court depositions.
- Prepare for trial by developing case strategies, organizing evidence, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and arbitration sessions with a focus on effective legal advocacy.
- Act as the prosecuting attorney for a City in our area;
- Engage in client communication to explain legal options clearly and provide strategic advice tailored to individual cases.
- Stay updated on relevant statutes, regulations—including environmental law, tribal law & regulations, employment law—and industry best practices to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of general & commercial litigation procedures and personal injury law.
- Strong research skills and case law analysis.
- Proven experience in legal motion preparation, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision.
- Skilled in negotiation tactics to achieve favorable settlements or resolutions outside of court when appropriate.
- Familiarity with litigation, criminal, landlord-tenant law, HOA experience, and corporate law is highly desirable. Experience in estate planning and probate law a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently using effective legal case management tools while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong procedural law knowledge combined with excellent research capabilities to support complex litigation strategies.
- Effective client communication skills coupled with legal administrative experience to ensure seamless case handling.
