We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, and more.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to offer accurate auto estimating and upselling of additional services based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and invoices.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring compliance with dealership policies.
- Stay updated on automotive technology trends and repair techniques to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Foster strong relationships with customers through exceptional customer service and follow-up communications.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong background in auto service management or mechanic experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
- Experience in service writing and understanding of automotive service operations.
- Familiarity with various automotive systems including transmissions, air brakes, suspension components, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining integrity in recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping.
