SUMMARY
A temporary summer help position is available for 3-5 weeks during the summer.
DAYS/HOURS
- 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m
- temporary, summer position
- 15-25 hours a week, 3-5 various weeks over the summer
PAY RATE
Hourly wage TBD. Hired through EduStaff.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
To the maintenance supervisor
ANTICIPATED START DATE
Upon completion of a criminal background check.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling
- Moving furniture and heavy items
- Clearing
- Loading and unloading
- Pushing/pulling carts
- Trash removal
- Restocking supplies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- HS diploma preferred
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, and the school community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and climb or balance. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
