The department of English & Modern Languages at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Instructor, English. The anticipated start date is August 10, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach 30 credit hours per academic year in English, general education, and other areas as assigned by chair.
REQUIREMENTS: Doctoral degree in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience. Specialization in Shakespeare or pre-1600s literature, poetry, or rhetoric/composition desired. Secondary specialization in creative writing is also positive.
