Design/Showroom Assistant
More Space Place is a local family-owned company specializing in space-saving solutions. We design, produce, and install custom closets, Murphy beds, home offices, garage cabinetry, and much more. Our business has grown substantially over the past 20 years, and we're currently looking for an Design/Showroom Assistant for our Asheville location. This is a Full Time position (9 am-5 pm).
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet and assist a wide range of customers, including homeowners, contractors, and designers with their home projects
- Understand and document each customer's needs
- Handle incoming phone inquiries
- Support showroom designers on various design and administrative tasks
- Display and maintain top-notch customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Willingness to consistently learn, grow, and improve skills
- Willingness to work well with others
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff and customers in a courteous and polite manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of the design/construction industry
- Ability to work Saturdays
