JOB SUMMARY:
The Temporary Response Specialist supports all aspects of the management of the assigned project including Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Profitability and Growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participates with senior management in the execution of project scope and plan.
• Work in conjunction with Salvage and Dive Masters to support any environmental need.
• Assume duties within Operations Section in support of overall Incident Command Team (IMT).
• Support and provide leadership to all aspects of environmental response, clean-up and planning for assigned projects.
• Overall responsibility for safety and compliance for specific projects assigned.
• Manages the administration process of the dailies and work with project account for specific assignments.
• Provide support to diving and salvage operations as needed.
• Manages and maintain the performance of assigned teams.
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least five years of direct management experience.
• Must be multi-task oriented and have strong supervisory, time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to understand and analyze components of jobs costs, profit and loss.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal), analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients, employees and management.
• Ability to serve as an outside representative of the company and see business development as a core function.
• Ability to work in a wide range of environments including those involving hazardous conditions and which may require lifting or exerting force exceeding 50 lbs.
• Must have licenses as required by position, in good standing and meet applicable MER and DOT driving requirements to operate company vehicles and equipment (documentation is required).
• Ability to work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary.
• Ability to travel overnight as required by business needs.
• Must participate in continuing education classes and successfully complete occupational safety training courses as required. Minimum training requirements include:
o 29 CFR 1910.120 OSHA 40 Hour Hazwoper and 8 Hour Supervisor Annual Refresher
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS degree required
• Additional business management education or professional training strongly preferred
