What are the responsibilities and job description for the Christmas Light Installer position at Moose Light Displays?
About Us
Moose Light Displays is Helena's locally owned Christmas light company, and we're excited to be heading into our third season. We design, install, maintain, and remove professional holiday displays so our clients never have to climb a snowy roof.
The Season
- Late October: setup, measuring, and building job kits
- November: installs
- December: mid-season fixes and service calls
- January: takedown and storage
Pay
- Installer: $18/hr plus bonuses
- Crew Lead opportunity: Crew Leads run installs independently, guide a small crew, and are the face of Moose Light Displays on site.
What You’ll Do
- Measure and build new jobs
- Install pre-measured, pre-cut roofline lights on homes and businesses
- Safely use ladders and work on roofs
- Perform mid-season fixes and troubleshoot lights that go out
- Take down, inventory, and store lights after the season
You're a Fit If You
- Are comfortable on ladders and roofs in cold Montana weather
- Take pride in clean, careful work
- Are reliable, show up on time, and have dependable transportation
- Are 18 or older and use good common sense
- Have a valid driver's license (required for Crew Lead)
Nice to Have
- Experience in roofing, construction, landscaping, irrigation, or gutters
- Off-season irrigation or landscaping crews looking for winter work are encouraged to apply
