Job Summary

The person in this position is under general supervision to perform a variety of custodial duties in cleaning schools, buildings and grounds. Primary responsibilities of the position are to: - Maintain the cleanliness of school buildings and adjacent areas. - Perform duties in accordance with District safety regulations and practices. - Assist with a wide array of minor non-technical maintenance work, relative to the property and equipment of school site or function.

The written test will be given on an AS NEEDED basis (picture ID required). Late arrivals will not be admitted for testing. No cell phones, no calculator. Application and information may be obtained from Moorpark Unified School District, 5297 Maureen Lane, Moorpark, CA 93021, (805) 378-6300 or at mrpk.org. Current employees working in a different job classification and desiring to make application for a vacant position should complete and submit an Application for Classified Employment to the Personnel Office prior to the posted deadline. An employee requesting to transfer from one work site to another work site in the same job classification, must complete and submit a classified Request for Transfer to the Personnel Office prior to the deadline. Outside applicants will also be considered.
