This position is typically assigned to a district elementary building and is responsible for providing building personnel assistance in the use of technology; providing Tier I technical support in the use of applications and software within the building; configuring and installing computing devices, performing hardware repairs and software upgrades; solving printer and device connectivity issues; monitoring staff and student accounts; and troubleshooting software applications for grade levels and departments.
- Maintain and monitor client workstations
- Maintain and support building level equipment
- Maintain and monitor servers for building staff
- Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity
- Provide customer service and support
- Provide support to computerized testing
- Maintain Inventory
- Provide support for building technology staff and other district personnel.
Education and Experience:
- Up to one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in computer science; and/or any satisfactory combination of education/experience training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license
Preferred
- A minimum of two years of experience providing technical support of computing workstations, printers and/or other AV equipment.
