What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Technician position at Moorhead School District 152?
Under the direction of the School Nurse, provide health services, nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with district policies and procedures determined by the School Nurse. This is a 9 month per year position.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; and/or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar or like position.
- First Aid and CPR Certification and/or the ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of an associate’s degree or higher in a health related field such as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Prior experience working with children and/or health care setting.
