Location: Moorhead High School/Moorhead High School Career Academy

This is a 12 month position

This position is assigned to district secondary buildings and is responsible for providing building personnel assistance in the use of technology including support of a 1-to-1 ChromeBook program that includes offsite device take home privileges. The position is required to troubleshoot, connect and configure wired and wireless devices on data network using VLAN topology; Repair computing workstation hardware including student chromebooks; Basic configuration of network laser printers; provides tier 1 support for all classroom Audio-Visual systems including LCD projectors, flat panel displays, sound field audio reinforcement systems and telephone handsets. The position will monitor staff and student user accounts; and troubleshoot SSO connectivity to software applications, as required. The position will frequently interact with students who are reporting issues with their chromebooks.  Additionally written and verbal contact with parents/guardians of students can be expected as it is related to our 1-to-1 computing device program.

• Perform general maintenance in order to maintain network integrity
• Install, test, and troubleshoot all client specific application software to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain and monitor client workstations
• Maintain and support other building equipment
• Perform Technical Help Desk functions by answering email, trouble-tickets, and phone calls from staff, students and occasionally parents/guardians of students
• Provide customer service and support
• Provide support to computerized testing
• Provide support for building technology staff and other district personnel
