As a maintenance technician, you are a critical member of our team who can solve a problem for our customers, to keep them happy and satisfied by ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely and safe manner. Maintenance Technicians are accountable for identifying and resolving problems, completing service requests, and making repairs in accordance with operating and safety standards.
As a maintenance technician at Building and Grounds Maintenance, you are the face of our company, and it is your responsibility to bring your A-game every day. Here at BGM we take pride in delivering high quality results in every aspect of our business.
A BGM Maintenance Technician will take pride in serving others and delivering caring and professional experience to our customers and your fellow team members.
Pay range is $22 - $28 per hour (based on experience)
This is a Full-time position, Monday – Friday, weekends as needed.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:
Interior Maintenance
- Minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, lighting)
- Light bulb replacements
- Ceiling tile replacements
- Drywall repairs (holes, cracks, water damage)
- Door & lock repairs
- Painting touch-ups & maintenance
- Fixture replacements (sinks, toilets, faucets)
Exterior Maintenance
- Exterior painting & touch-ups
- Fence repairs
- Exterior lighting maintenance
- Signage repairs & maintenance
- Pressure washing exterior surfaces
Experience and Education:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a High School degree, GED or equivalent.
- One year’s experience is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must have a working knowledge of the materials, equipment, tools and methods needed to be a successful maintenance technician.
- Current & Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and clean driving record for past 3 years.
- Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
