We have openings in our sprinkler/irrigation division. During the winter months, our team provides snow removal services.
For whom we’re looking
A sprinkler/ irrigation technician. Somebody who doesn’t mind digging holes, getting wet, and solving problems. Somebody able to maintain a schedule while being flexible for changes in plans. We’re looking for somebody to work in our Sprinkler Division performing regular maintenance on sprinkler/underground irrigation systems, repairing systems, and helping customers to figure out the best ways to water their lawn.
Job Duties
- Perform regular sprinkler/underground irrigation system maintenance
- Troubleshoot, identify, and repair problems caused by age or damage
- Work with customers and train them how to work their controllers and set schedules
- Perform snow and ice removal during overnight hours, as dictated by weather.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changing weather conditions and work long, variable hours as needed. For example, if we need to work longer days in summer due to being rained out, or snow events in winter.
Requirements

- Must be able to troubleshoot and identify problems
- Must be able to drive a vehicle legally
- Must be able to maintain an inventory of parts
- Must be able to communicate professionally with customers
- Experience with sprinkler/underground irrigation systems (1 or 2 years of experience)
Bonus Skills
- Plumbing and/or low voltage electrical experience a plus
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and working with wifi networks a plus

HOURS
This is a full-time, year-round position.
- Summer: A typical work day is 7 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday, with the occasional Saturday.
- Winter: We offer guaranteed hours (average 30 hours per week), but hours will vary since it’s dependent upon snow events. Must be available for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays on short notice.
PAY
Pay ranges between $24 - $28/hr plus benefits.
