Job Responsibilities:
Data Programmer works with large datasets to analyze, plan, and execute complex processing workflows. The role focuses on creating end-to-end solutions for data transformations and largescale production preparation. This includes variable layouts and digital document composition. Job Responsibilities:
- Read and follow complex job processing instructions.
- Plan and execute a data processing workflow.
- Receive, analyze and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software.
- Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed length.
- Write scripts using C syntax to perform data transformations.
- Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer.
- Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices.
- Perform quality assurance checks for all work.
- Work closely with the customer service team and production staff.
- Serve as technical support for all projects worked on.
- Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Intrinsically motivated and have a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to plan and prioritize projects.
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment.
- Experience with VB.Net, C# or C .
- Experience with Anchor Software or Quadient Inspire is a plus.
- Ability to be present and available at the scheduled times and location as outlined in the work schedule.
