Duties
- Oversee daily operations of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and property maintenance projects.
- Coordinate and supervise field service technicians, ensuring efficient scheduling and quality workmanship.
- Review schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to facilitate project execution.
- Manage equipment repair, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting across various systems including air conditioning, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and appliance repair.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to mechanical systems, welding procedures, and equipment handling.
- Lead training initiatives for staff on new technologies such as HVAC/R systems and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing technical concerns promptly.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for service operations.
- Develop strategic plans for business growth in the plumbing and HVAC sectors while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related fields with a focus on plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance.
- Service technician experience with a solid understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliances.
- Mechanical knowledge related to welding, boiler operation, and general maintenance tasks.
- Field service background with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Additional skills such as welding or mechanic experience are advantageous for overseeing complex repairs and installations.
