Project locations have ranged from the continental US, to Venezuela, Azerbaijan, and Argentina to name a few. We aim to provide specialized and quality services from simple mechanical design to turnkey fabrication and site construction for our customers.
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team at our Katy facility. Our receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, greeting guests, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional miscellaneous clerical duties.
Principal Responsibilities
- Courteously and professionally answer telephone, screen and direct calls.
- Take and relay messages.
- Provide information to callers.
- Courteously and professionally greet persons entering organization.
- Direct persons to correct destination.
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, i.e. type, make copies, fax, file, and assemble manuals.
- Scan and/or Upload documentation to K-Drive or M-Files system.
- Prepare correspondence and documents.
- Receive and sort Courier deliveries and prepare UPS and Fed-Ex shipments.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment.
- Ensure fax machine and copiers are fully stocked with paper.
- Track toner supply; notify Office Manager of when copier services and toner cartridges when needed.
- Control inventory relevant to reception area, i.e. office supplies.
- Maintain the reception and kitchen areas, clean and keep stocked.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes and procedures.
Desired Experience/Skills
- High School degree or equivalent is required.
- Prior work experience in a similar role is required (typing, filing, accounting, and bookkeeping).
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
