Marketing Operations And Analytics Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY

The Analytics & Insights team is excited to add a consultant to support marketing operations and quick-turn analytics. This is a great role for someone early in their career (0–3 years of experience) who is comfortable writing SQL and excited to learn in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Modify SQL queries to generate targeted marketing lists for campaigns and promotions.
• Support weekly marketing communications — ensuring audience lists are correct, complete, and delivered on time.
• Respond to internal “request forms” from Marketing teams and clarify targeting criteria as needed.
• Run “quick-turn” ad hoc data pulls (nothing requiring deep modeling or long-form analysis).
• Upload list outputs via pre-written Python scripts (no need to write code from scratch — just execute).
• Partner with a high-caliber analytics team (managers data engineer) and learn the data ecosystem.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

• Someone with SQL experience (internships or 1–3 years in analytics, data, or marketing ops).
• Someone who understands the basics of relational databases — joining tables, logic flows, data relationships.
• A fast learner who’s comfortable working with very large datasets
• Someone who communicates well and isn’t afraid to clarify requests or ask questions.
• Someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work with some variety (90% planned, 10% creative problem-solving).

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Light familiarity with Python (executing scripts).
• Exposure to marketing/CRM concepts.
• Any experience with Tableau, dashboards, or data visualization.

MUST BE IN THE KANSAS CITY METRO AND WILLING TO BE IN OFFICE 2-3 DAYS A WEEK!
