Duties
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression
- Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, insurance verification, and file management
- Communicate effectively with medical staff to facilitate seamless patient admissions and discharges
- Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting patient interactions and updating records
Experience
- Prior experience working in an office setting or has phone and data entry skills.
- Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a busy healthcare environment (training provided)
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical office procedures, including appointment scheduling and insurance processing (training provided)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with patients and team members
