Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support function of the Human Resource and Housing department at Moonlight Basin. Tasks ranging from coordinating employee arrivals and departures, assisting with new hire/housing onboarding, recordkeeping, maintenance tracking, and other duties as assigned. This position is the face of Human Resources & Housing and must emanate a high level of interpersonal skill and customer service in person and on the telephone. Must be highly confidential and follow human resource and housing protocols, policies, and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Assist with general HR office duties such as answering incoming calls, answering general HR questions for Associates or walk-ins.
- Assisting with onboarding new hires into ADP software.
- I-9 processing and tracking.
- Facilitate communication between managers, new hires, employees, housing, recruiting, and human resources staff.
- Assist with campus and community recruiting coordination.
- Manage various employee recognition programs, employee celebrations, and international employee cultural activities.
- Assist with delivering a great candidate/new hire experience.
- Create, order, assemble, and distribute swag bags for seasonal employees onboarding.
Housing
- Manage sending and processing Housing Questionnaires and Administration Fee payment forms.
- Process housing questionnaire to assign housing per candidate’s preferences.
- Work with employees regarding housing questions, roommate options, and cost for different units and ultimate placement.
- Create and maintain housing information sheets for managers and recruiters to use when hiring new employees.
- Arrange transportation to and from the airport for seasonal employees and assist as needed.

Schedule Move-out inspections and assist as needed.
- Log repair notifications and ensure they are completed timely and completely.
- Ensure apartments are ready for the next season tenant check-ins.
- Inventory bedding and apartment supplies and order as needed.
- Assist with supervising and managing the Resident Assistants.
- Must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a small office of diverse people and programs.
- Interacts with staff in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Operating with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent relevant work experience required. College Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative support role; preferably with one year in human resources and one year in property management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must possess a positive attitude
- A highly professional demeanor as well as a high level of discretion and sound judgment is required for this position
- Must be able to quickly adapt to changing conditions and effectively using new software products
- Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
