Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a high-impact data platform initiative for our client based in Tampa, FL. This role will focus on data ingestion and orchestration, working with modern data stack technologies to enable seamless data flow from multiple sources into a centralized analytics platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud ecosystems, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog for data ingestion and orchestration initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable data pipelines across multiple environments
- Define and prioritize features related to data ingestion from RDBMS, files, and other sources
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Drive adoption of best practices for data reliability, performance, and governance
- Coordinate across teams working on Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure
- Monitor product performance and continuously improve data workflows and orchestration processes
- Ensure alignment with overall data platform strategy (Databricks on Azure)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in data/platform teams
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Fivetran (data ingestion)
- HVR (data replication/orchestration)
- Databricks (Azure)
- Solid understanding of:
- Azure cloud ecosystem
- AWS (multi-cloud exposure preferred)
- Relational Databases (RDBMS)
- On-Premises database infrastructure
- Experience working with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work with distributed teams and manage cross-functional dependencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments (Azure AWS On-Prem)
- Exposure to data lakehouse architecture
- Strong stakeholder communication and prioritization skills
- Background in data engineering or analytics-driven product environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation includes medical, vision, and dental benefits.
