What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labeling and Packaging Team Member position at Montshire Packing?
Our packaging team plays an important part in getting our beef from the cutting room to our retail customers and wholesale accounts. This is a hands-on, physical job where attention to detail and working well as a team are important.
What you'll do
- Package and label beef products accurately and efficiently
- Check labels and product information for accuracy
- Operate packaging and labeling equipment
- Inspect products and packaging to make sure they meet our quality standards
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Move product and supplies using pallet jacks and other equipment
- Follow USDA food safety and sanitation requirements
- Work closely with the cutting and processing teams to keep product moving
- Help with other tasks around the packaging area as needed
