What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slaughterfloor Team Member position at Montshire Packing?
Montshire Packing is looking to add people to our slaughter floor team.
We have a strong, experienced crew that takes pride in producing a high-quality product. This is a hands-on position working directly in our slaughter operation, where teamwork, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality are essential.
What you'll do
- Assist with the slaughter and processing of livestock
- Operate equipment used throughout the slaughter process
- Follow USDA requirements and established food safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Work closely with the rest of the kill floor team to keep production moving efficiently
- Perform other duties around the slaughterhouse as needed
