Position Overview
Monticola Security is seeking professional, reliable, and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Security Officers. This role is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a strong security presence, enforcing site policies, and responding to incidents with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned locations to detect and prevent suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Enforce company and client security policies and procedures
- Conduct patrols (foot or vehicle) to ensure the safety and security of premises
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing entry/exit
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident and activity reports
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- High level of integrity and dependability
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 for armed positions)
- Valid driver’s license (if required for site)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must meet state licensing requirements (if applicable)
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
