Job Overview
We are seeking an independently motivated individual to join our team! In this role you will be providing exceptional cleaning services for our entire operation. This position ensures that the cleaning of one large office location, two small on-site buildings and one small off-site building’s restrooms, common areas, offices and grounds are kept in sanitary condition and are presentable for employees, customers, visitors, and the public. The ideal candidate will possess reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to do their job independently while being responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, floors and clean carpets as needed
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean walls, doors, windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Clean bathroom sinks, mirrors, toilets and floors
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies & keep up to date stock of supplies
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management
- Follow proper procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Lock and secure buildings after hours
- Assist with room setups for meetings or events (tables, chairs, etc.)
- Perform light exterior cleaning such as entryways, sidewalks, or snow removal (if applicable)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience helpful but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
Work Environment & Schedule
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust and equipment
- Includes evenings, weekends, or early morning shifts (cleaning schedule could be negotiated at time of interview)
- Indoor and occasional outdoor work (dependent on FT/PT status)
- Full Time or Part Time Position Open- status would determine exact responsibilities
