As a Customer Service Associate at Montgomery Overstock, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to our customers. You will assist in creating a welcoming, positive experience for every person who walks through our doors, helping them find the perfect furniture to meet their needs. This role requires a combination of customer care, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers as they enter the store, offering a friendly and helpful approach. Assist customers in finding and selecting furniture that fits their style, budget, and needs.
- Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of store products, including features, materials, sizes, and benefits, to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Order Processing: Process customer purchases, ensuring all information is entered accurately. Help with processing special orders, layaways, and financing options.
- Handling Customer Inquiries: Address customer inquiries about products, store policies, warranties, and delivery options via phone, email, or in person.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Support: Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase sales, promoting store specials, new arrivals, or seasonal promotions.
- Inventory Assistance: Help maintain accurate inventory records, assist in receiving deliveries, and ensure the showroom is well-stocked and organized.
- Maintaining Store Appearance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Ensure furniture is properly arranged, and displays are fresh and inviting.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and managers to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Cash Register Operation: Operate the cash register efficiently, process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
