What You'll Do
- Oversee special education programs and intervention services.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and assist with staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district requirements.
- Coordinate IEP development, reviews, and placements.
- Manage grants, budgets, and specialized services (e.g., home instruction, transportation).
- Support data-driven improvement through progress monitoring and assessment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Valid Ohio State Board of Education credentials.
- Knowledge of special education law and best practices.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage multiple programs and personnel.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple services simultaneously.
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
