Student Worker - Athletics (Part Time Temporary)
Reports to: Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $12.00
Work Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week; Nights and weekends
Academic Year: 2025-2026
Primary Location: Blue Bell Campus
The Department of Athletics is seeking student workers to assist with game day operations for all 8 of our varsity sports (women's volleyball, women's/men's basketball, women's/men's soccer, baseball, softball, and esports).
Duties
Traditional Athletics
- Sideline staff for soccer and volleyball.
- Scorekeeping for one of our seven sports.
- Scoreboard operations.
- Video of home games.
- Concession sales
- Pre-Game set-up and Post-Game tear down.
- Assist game day administrators in game day operations and half-time activities.
ESports
- Assist with livestreams and commentary during matches
- Assist with media graphics and tracking esports statistics
- Assist with esports related tournaments/community service efforts
Qualifications
- Be a student of Montgomery County Community College; be enrolled in 6 credits.
- Be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Promote MCCC athletics whenever possible.
- Serve as a positive public relations liaison, as directed by the College.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
