Responsibilities
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging respectful behavior
- Assist with homework help and tutoring to promote academic success
- Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including administering CPR or AED operation if required
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute age-appropriate activities that support childhood development
- Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children's progress and needs
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong understanding of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Ability to supervise children outdoors and indoors safely during various activities
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead or support youth group activities effectively
- Prior experience in special education, sports coaching, theater, babysitting, or daycare is a plus

Salary: $12.00-$14.00 per hour, 20 hours per week, 180 school days per year, and based on the MSC Policy and Procedural Manual
