Position Summary:
*A minimum of 6 months experience within a licensed preschool or child care center is essential.*

Key Responsibilities:
Support and guide children ages 16 months to 6 years using Montessori principles and gentle redirection Maintain classroom order and uphold daily routines and safety practices Prepare and clean materials as needed to support the classroom flow Supervise indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and respectful interactions Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, staff, and families Adapt to varying classroom needs with flexibility and grace.

Required:
Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or camp setting.

Reliable, punctual, and professional
Warm, patient, and respectful demeanor
Willingness to learn and follow Montessori methods
Preferred:
Montessori training or Montessori classroom experience
CPR/First Aid Certification
Fingerprint clearance and background check (or willingness to obtain)
High School diploma or GED (AA or higher in Early Childhood Education is a plus)
Certified Substitute Certificate
