Job Title: Central Office Manager I

General Job Description Summary
Under the direction of an Administrator and Program Director, shall follow Title 5 & 22 regulations in determining eligibility of families for the State Preschool funded programs and all work and knowledge of Title 5 required to enroll eligible children into the program, filing, updating, recertifying and all other work related to the management of such files. Candidate shall train new staff and site supervisors as necessary to maintain compliance with regulations. May need to work with administrator and/or program director in preparation of audits and other office related tasks and responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and positive outlook necessary when working with clients and vendors. Good basic math computation skills important for determining eligibility.
Management of campus renovation, installation and maintenance projects including management of general campus maintenance. Knowledge and experience when working with vendors and contractors, negotiation skill, knowledge of estimates and pricing in various applications. Management of inventories of equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Management of Child and Adult Care Food Program. Knowledge of CACFP program and all aspects of operation and management under the guidelines including budgeting for operation and submitting claims for reimbursement.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum A.A. or A.S. Degree. Accounting, business and office management knowledge and skills. Marketing and business operations experience a plus
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Min. 5-10 years of experience working in case file management or similar office work in case file management. Medium to advance knowledge of customer/student/family case file management and billing, collections and reconciliations. Good organizational and planning skills. Good phone etiquette, enthusiasm, communication skills in English both vocal and written, and basic math operations are required. Relates well to others and has positive and friendly personality, outlook and demeanor. Computer software literate, Microsoft office suite and other Windows based software operations including Power Pt, alternate software applications and ability to adapt to new software programs and changing office needs. Problem solving and creative skill a plus. Record-keeping techniques, documentation and file management is required. Skilled in auditing case files. Bilingual a plus. Management of office employees.
Other responsibilities include review correspondence and formal documents, plan and schedule appointments and workshops, greet and assist onsite guests, answer inbound telephone calls, develop and implement filing systems as necessary with management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

WORK HOURS: Full-time 40hrs/wk
PAY RATE: $26-35/hr
