Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care to ensure a safe and attractive environment
- Handle custodial responsibilities including restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with light facilities maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to support overall building upkeep
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required to manage larger-scale sanitation efforts
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly desirable
- Proven background in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs is a plus
